HILLSIDE—Hinsdale Central fell to St. Joseph, 75-61, in the finals of the consolation bracket at the 51st annual Proviso West Tournament.

Senior forward Tom Garvin propelled the Red Devils (7-4) with 22 points and four rebounds, while freshman forward-center Matt Rafferty contributed 12 points and eight rebounds.

HILLSIDE—Hinsdale Central advanced to the consolation finals of the 51st annual Proviso West Holiday Tournament, with a 64-50 win over Fenwick this afternoon.

Red Devils’ senior forward Tom Garvin dueled with Friars’ forward Samuel Ainsworth throughout the contest.  Garvin scored 27 points and grabbed six rebounds, while Ainsworth amassed 20 points and 13 rebounds.

Hinsdale Central advanced in the consolation bracket of the 51st annual Proviso West Holiday Tournament by defeating St. Patrick, 64-62.

HILLSIDE—No. 20 Morgan Park rallied in the final seconds to upend Hinsdale Central 50-49, in the first round of the 51st annual Proviso West Holiday Tournament.
