HC Boys' Tennis overpowers archrival Lyons Township

LA GRANGE--Hinsdale Central Boys' Tennis routinely upheld its perfect conference record, defeating Lyons Township, 7-0, late yesterday afternoon at Lyons.

Two of the three singles matches went the distance, as Hinsdale senior Sam Bloom and freshman Martin Joyce exhibited resilience and determination in rallying from one-set deficits to claim three-set victories over the Lions' Jake Elliott and Alex Ross, respectively.

HC Boys' Water Polo downs No. 11 Oak Park-River Forest, spoils Senior Night on road

OAK PARK--Hinsdale Central Boys' Water Polo made another strong statement against a highly-touted opponent, edging No. 11 Oak Park-River Forest, 13-11, at OPRF last night.

The game was extremely tight throughout, and Hinsdale did not increase its lead to two goals until the waning moments of the contest.

Juniors Brogan O'Doherty and George Koulouris were hampered by foul trouble early, but returned late to give the Red Devils a needed lift.

Paddle Tennis: Hinsdale Golf Club captures 2nd Annual Ogden Cup

HINSDALE, North-side--Hinsdale Golf Club defeated Salt Creek Club, 71-64.5, to claim the 2nd Annual Ogden Cup, after an afternoon and evening of outstanding paddle tennis at both locations.

Red Devils Softball comeback bid thwarted against Elmwood Park

HINSDALE—Hinsdale Central Softball staged a late rally but came up two runs short, falling to Elmwood Park, 7-5, early this evening.

HC Boys' Tennis trounces Trojans

HINSDALE, North-side--Fresh off of an impressive showing at the Benet/Downers South Team Championship last Saturday, Hinsdale Central Boys' Tennis routed Downers Grove North, 7-0, late yesterday afternoon at Burns Field.

The Red Devils did not drop a set, en route to three victories at singles and four wins at doubles.  Hinsdale dropped a total of five games in seven matches, and no Red Devil singles player or doubles team lost more than one game in a set.
